In this post, we feature an infographic titled “Why the War on Drugs has Failed” by Paul at Ocean Recovery Centre.  Ocean Recovery Centre is an alcohol rehab clinic in the United Kingdom.

In this infographic, we outline why the War on Drugs has failed. We also outline positive alternatives that could help to replace the War on Drugs. The War on Drugs has been fought since 1971. Billions of pounds have been wasted on a war that has created a devastating crisis for farmers in the Third World and led to an increase in the number of people consuming dangerous and addictive drugs. We urge this ‘war’ to be abandoned as swiftly as possible.

In the infographic, we shed light into how successive world Governments have sought to fight the War on Drugs. We illustrate how these methods have been responsible for the current chaotic situation.
