Peter Geoghegan is back for round 2! Peter is a writer at openDemocracy and author of the book Democracy For Sale all about the corruption, dark money, and astroturfing going on in British politics. We had him on the show last year to talk about his book when it first came out and he is back to talk all about the corruption/cronyism involved in handing out the covid contracts. We talked about why there is not more outrage at the money being handed out to friends of the government in times of crisis, as well as Peter’s recent struggles and revelations on FOI requests.
