Paula McIntyre was my guest on today’s show. Paula is the head of Slow Food Northern Ireland, author of “A Kitchen Year” and “Paula McIntyre’s Down to Earth Cookbook”, and former guest chef on Ready, Steady, Cook! She is a member of the Craft Guild of Chefs, and the Irish Food Writers Guild, and is the former head chef at Ghan House in Carlingford and Fontana in Holywood. She also enjoys a swim in the absolutely baltic Irish Sea and I caught her on Portstewart Strand straight after her swim for this interview to discuss Slow Food NI and our food culture in Northern Ireland (we recorded outside on the beach by Harry’s Shack so you’ll have to forgive the background mill of life at this beautiful beach hut).
