I have been thinking a lot about the crumbling of the 20th-century institutions across the world, such as media, government, and finance, and wondering how we might achieve some sort of bloodless revolution. It’s a difficult idea to fathom, but we need to find ways to renew our trust in institutions and society if we are to continue to progress as a species.
